ITQAN: Jurnal Ilmu-Ilmu Kependidikan (e-ISSN: 2614-4654 | p-ISSN: 2086-7018;) is a scholarly journal on the field of educational science published by Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training of Islamic State Institute of Lhokseumawe, Aceh, Indonesia.
The word “Itqan” is derived from Arabic language which meant optimism and steadiness of work (writing). The name is given for fostering the spirit of writing creativity by academicians in general, and particularly it can be a media for all academicians at the faculty to publish their academic writing.
This Journal contains original works from lecturers, researchers, students, and other concerned parties who have not been published or are not on the publication in the form of articles on the research, and conceptual ideas.
TThe Scope of Itqan journal included the area of (1) Islamic education; (2) English Education; (3) Arabic Education; (4) Mathematics Education; (5) Islamic Education Management; (6) Bahasa Indonesia Education; (7) Early Childhood Education; (8) Elementary Education, and any educational Islamic studies related to Islamic education.
With articles that have primary citations and have never been published online or in print before. Every article submitted before being published will go through the Plagiarism Check process through the turnitin tool and Mendeley. If major plagiarism is indicated, the manuscript will be rejected for publication.
With the establishment of the Rumah Jurnal Team, IAIN Lhokseumawe, Aceh in 2021, the ITQAN: Journal of Educational Sciences transitioned to a system using OJS-3 while maintaining its biannual publication of articles (in June and December).
